Old Port in Montreal

One thing I love the most, in summer, is the evening soft sunlight kissing every street, wall and window. There’s something fascinating about it.

We walked through the small streets and corners and it felt like I was somewhere in Europe, even though my home is only an hour or two away.

The famous Habitat 67 from Moshie Safdie stands proudly on the other side of the river. (I was surprised to find out, just yesterday, that he is doing incredible projects in Singapore, where the weather is more merciful.)

In my opinion, Montreal is mostly known for its gastronomy. There are so many good places to try. For French cuisine, the Old Port is where you can find the most high end restaurants.
